DONALD TRUMP AND RENÉ ANGÉLIL

Image
DONALD TRUMP AND RENÉ ANGÉLIL  By Bernard Bujold - The President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, reminds me of René Angélil (1942-2016), the deceased manager of Céline Dion and the creator of her career.  All along her career, all the well-thought media, including most of Quebec, made fun of the artist and it's only with his talent as a "manager" and his great perseverance that René was able to impose Celine and make her the world icon she became in the world of music. René and Donald have this common point to understand communications and marketing and above all to never give up when they are convinced of their projects. If René's product was Celine, in a way, you could say Donald Trump is both the manager and the product...  I took the liberty of photographing Donald Trump (iPad and Livestream) as he addressed the economic leaders of the United States on Wednesday, April 29, 2020, on the subject of the recovery of the US economy following the Coronavirus

NOVA SCOTIA'S PARADISE TURNED INTO HELL...

Image
THE TRAGEDY IN NOVA SCOTIA  By Bernard Bujold-  Nova Scotia is a beautiful province. The scenery is even more beautiful than the Gaspé Peninsula, which I love! Unfortunately, Nova Scotia's paradise has turned into hell...  The "Devil" worked his miracle there!  Guy Fournier knows Nova Scotia as well as I do, and his text in the Journal de Montréal (Monday, April 27, 2020) could have been written by me because I fully share his vision of the description.  https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2020/04/23/lhorrible-tueur-de-portapique#cxrecs_s

GHOST CITY

Image
GHOST CITY  By Bernard Bujold The faithful Ulysses and I can't wait for the ghost town of Montreal to come back to life! There is nothing more worrisome than to walk, almost alone, in a lifeless city.  Loneliness is sometimes more dangerous and frightening than the urban crowd... In any case, life should start again soon as the various governments are working on a timetable for deconfinement. Long live civilization! THE CORONAVIRUS AND DEATH

Image
CORONAVIRUS AND DEATH  By Bernard Bujold-  The large proportion of deaths due to coronavirus occur in long-term care facilities...  If we look at the statistics on the places where those who lost their lives lived, we can see that 87% of the victims lived in a residence or CHSLD (long-term care facility).  Nine (9) victims out of ten (10) in Quebec lived in a seniors' residence!  Worse yet, according to an emergency physician, not all the elderly who died in CHSLDs died from the virus. Many died of hunger and thirst, for lack of water and food...  SEE STATISTICAL REPORTING OF MORTALITIES https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2020/04/23/9-victimes-sur-10-vivaient-dans-une-residence-pour-aines  SEE REPORTING DIE OF HUNGER AND THIRST https://www.journaldemontreal.com/2020/04/23/aines-affames-et-deshydrates

DREAM OR REALITY?

Image
DREAM OR REALITY?  By Bernard Bujold -  On average, we spend one third (1/3) of our lives sleeping and many of us dreaming! I often wonder if the true beauty of life is in the dream or in reality. Life often seems so much more beautiful in dreams...  Personally, I dream every night and often dream wonderful stories.  Last night, for example, I dreamt about a woman I know who has attracted me lovingly in the past. In my dream, she was with me at my parents' house and we were discussing recipes and other topics of life. My parents invited her to stay with us for a few days and offered her the guest room, which she accepted.  Of course, that's when I woke up!

THE CORONAVIRUS AND CHINA

Image
THE CORONAVIRUS AND CHINA  By Bernard Bujold  Many peoples are talking more and more about the rumor that China would be responsible for the creation of Coronavirus.  Nothing is impossible and when you look at the small village in Nova Scotia, if one lonely man, a very evil one, is capable of killing in cold blood over 23 peoples in a calculated plan; one could easily believe that the creation of a deadly virus, even by accident, in a very big country run under the Communist Party rules is a possibility.  To be continued...  SEE STORY THE WALL STREET JOURNAL

LIFE AFTER THE CORONAVIRUS

Image
POST-CORONAVIRUS  By Bernard Bujold  After the Coronavirus crisis, it will be a new crisis, perhaps even worse, that of agoraphobia or fear of crowds .  See report LE DEVOIR

THE DREAM OF THE CORONAVIRUS

Image
CORONAVIRUS - THE TOTAL UNKNOWN  By Bernard Bujold- La Presse journalist Patrick Lagacé explains his vision of Coronavirus by saying that the question facing the world is to choose between two options:  1. To let old people die from the virus, like in Sweden;  2. or let the young die "economically" by killing civilization for who knows how long! But he concludes that the choice is an impossible one to make and that the result is also totally uncertain! Personally, the Coronavirus crisis reminds me of someone lost in the forest who cannot find his way back to civilization and who risks death. I often have this kind of dream on the night I go on an excursion in a forest but I can't find my way back. Which path should I take to get out of the forest? The solution, every time, is to wake up!  In the case of Coronavirus, it is impossible to simply wake up and that is the tragedy because we are lost and face death if we do not find our way back!  SEE TEXT PATRICK LAGAC
