THE BRIDGES OF MONTREAL... By Bernard Bujold - It is impossible to cross one of Montreal's many bridges, above or below, without thinking of the tragedy that occurred in Genoa, Italy. In fact, a bridge is a very solid structure but also very fragile and if a portion of the bridge collapses, no survival is possible for those who are above, or for those who cross below.
