YOKO ONO EXHIBITION IN MONTREAL- By Bernard Bujold- On Wednesday evening, April 24, 2019, the Phi Foundation opened the exhibition devoted to Yoko Ono's contemporary works. The exhibition is presented in two buildings at 465 and 451 St-Jean in Old Montreal and is highly interactive as visitors are invited to create works from the exhibition's installations. You can stick a "post it" on a wall, hang a label with a message in trees, hit a nail on a wooden board, create statuettes with rocks, etc. Personally I had fun writing on the wall, hitting a nail and hanging my message in a tree... The general theme of the exhibition is world peace and the colour white dominates. During the inauguration evening, there were a good hundred police officers and dozens of police cars all around in the streets surrounding the Centre Phi but one absent... Yoko Ono! Yoko Ono (86 years old) could not attend the opening of the exhibition, but she sent a message to the med...
