Trump  By Bernard Bujold - The next edition of TIME magazine (July 2, 2019) will be about how the campaign for the Presidency of Donald Trump in 2020 is working.  Trump is his own man and to be successful, his staff must adapt to his actions of the day.  The man in charge, his 2020 campaign right arm, is Brad Parscale, a 6 ft. 8 in. former college basketball recruit, a lanky 43-year-old digital-marketing entrepreneur from San Antonio who engineered Trump’s targeted online-ad blitz in 2016. Parscale has hired about 60 staff and he is drawing on his personal tech-startup background to do all this to work out.  Parscale sees his role as Trump’s facilitator. He’s the campaign manager, the finance director, and the director of everything. Parscale says. “My job is to build a team that’s ready to deal with whatever happens.”...

FRANÇOIS LEGAULT AT THE TOP IN 2019  By Bernard Bujold -  Quebec Premier François Legault is at the height of his popularity according to a survey for La Presse, and according to me, he should continue to rise!   The character surprises and positively.  Personally, I did not vote for his party in the provincial election (October 18, 2018) but I would do so today without any restraint.  François Legault reminds me of René Lévesque in his Quebec nationalism; of Donald Trump in his determination and sense of decision; and he displays his own personality as a discreet and sober man in his speeches.  If I had to make a forecast, it is that François Legault will be Prime Minister for two terms, perhaps even more if he wants to!  To be continued...  SEE STORY

A LARGE OR SMALL BOAT... By Bernard Bujold- Ulysses loves to walk along the banks of the river in the Old Port of Montreal. Yesterday during his usual Sunday afternoon walk, looking at the few boats attached to the wharf (the 2019 season has only just begun), he had an existential question...  "Can you be happy to have a small boat if all your neighbours have a big boat?  The answer is variable and depends on our individual visions of life and material. It's a question of "jar"....  In the case of Ulysse LeChien, he is very competitive and prefers to be a big fish in a small jar (a big dog in a small park) and he would not like to go around with a small boat among a group of large yachts (a small fish in a large jar).  And you, what is your preference?   HAPPY FATHER'S DAY JUNE 2019  By Bernard Bujold - It is said that offering a tie for Father's Day is outdated but not for my faithful Ulysses....  As he considers me a little like his father, he wanted to greet the anniversary of this Sunday, June 16, 2019 and he offered me a tie, in the colors of my favorite idol....  I hadn't worn a tie for "moons", but I didn't want to disappoint him and agreed to put on some nice clothes and go out with him in the city, for a short moment in time!  Happy Father's Day to all of you.  SEE PHOTO
