TO MOVE OR DIE A LITTLE...

Image
TO MOVE OR DIE A LITTLE...  By Bernard Bujold - The difficulty in a moving is the journey to the conclusion (as with death and agony).  I finally finished cleaning out the locker and the move. Often I thought I was finished but other boxes magically appeared...  Conclusion: it's finally a rebirth but, as in any rebirth, you have to die before being reborn, and that's the difficulty. But the light always exists at the end of the tunnel, and it appeared to me.  Have a good summer 2020 to all of you!  SEE PHOTOS

NATHALIE BONDIL - THE REAL WOMAN

NATHALIE BONDIL - THE REAL WOMAN  By Bernard Bujold -  In my mind, Nathalie Bondil has always represented what a woman should be.  I have known Nathalie since 2007 when she was appointed Director of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts replacing Guy Cogeval.  I have always liked Nathalie's style and have had the opportunity to share many social evenings with her. I remember a gala dinner where I invited her to the table of the company I represented (Air France), which sponsored the Picasso exhibition presented at the Museum. I had noticed the very human side of Nathalie, who got up from the table during the evening to rescue an old man who had fallen on the dance floor. Nathalie Bondil is both very human and a great humanist.  At another event, I had photographed her with her daughter. She had asked me for a copy of the photo and she told me she would return the favour one day, so much she appreciated the image...  I have always loved the M...

GHISLAINE MAXWELL: A STORY ABOUT RICH AND FAMOUS PEOPLE...

GHISLAINE MAXWELL: A STORY ABOUT RICH AND FAMOUS PEOPLE...  By Bernard Bujold -  You could say from "father to daughter"...  Ghislaine Maxwell's father, Robert Maxwell, was a character known for his contacts with rich and famous people from all over the world and for his financial frauds towards them.  I had met him three times and I had announced his suicide to Pierre Péladeau who told me that he was convinced that he had been assassinated by the secret agents of Saudi Arabia...  Quebecor was associated with Maxwell in several projects, including one in newsprint (Donohue). Some time before Maxwell's death, Quebecor's executives had discovered that he could not pay for his newsprint purchases and that he was bankrupt...  The story of 1991 is repeated in 2020 with his daughter and her role in the Epstein affair.  A "father-daughter" story!  SEE REPORT

CANADA DAY JULY 2020

Image
CANADA DAY JULY 1, 2020 - By Bernard Bujold - The history of Canada is relatively young and while the current confederation dates back to 1867, the first origins of organized society began in Quebec.  In fact, the first Canadian parliament was located in Montreal, but it was burned down and completely destroyed by a band of rebels opposing the elected government. The history of Canada has always been closely linked to the one of the United States. At the time (1849), the political atmosphere in Canada was very similar to the one of today in United States with great economic difficulties, a deep polarization of political ideas, and a great violence in the society. One would think that history is repeating itself in 2020 and that the more time passes, the less things change...  Happy Canada Day to all!  SEE PHOTOS

MY BIRTHDAY - 28 JUNE 2020

Image
MY BIRTHDAY - 28 JUNE 2020 - By Bernard Bujold - I love birthdays and especially presents...  Ulysses gave me this year a surprise golden gift! I waited until the evening of my birthday to open it. The secret gift is a magnificent Trump 2020 GOLD card! This card will be a source of inspiration until November 3rd, and then it will represent a symbol of Donald Trump's victory!  For me, Donald represents the only remaining link with civilization. But if I admire him, I don't envy him. Personally, I would have given up a long time ago because I hate quarrels, but Donald has a special energy, a warrior's character. We are at a time of polarization of ideas, differences in life values between the races of humanity and the global containment surrounding the Coronavirus has completely destroyed our civilization. For these reasons, being a warrior is ultimately the only way to survive, and perhaps save us from the end of the world!  Since March 2020, humanity has been in...

TO MOVE OR DIE A LITTLE...

Image
TO MOVE OR DIE A LITTLE...  By Bernard Bujold- I've always considered that moving is dying a little; and emptying a storage locker is an even harder death than just moving...  This is my experience at the end of June 2020 and I had to search in my depths to find the energy and courage to do it.  In the end, I succeeded and you could say that afterwards it is a form of rebirth, life after death...  You also make discoveries when you empty a storage locker! In my case, while looking at photos from 2004, I tried to track down on Facebook a photographer with whom I had collaborated and whom I had found friendly.  I found her again!  She died in May 2009 of cancer, she was 46 years old (Nancy Lessard).  Have a good summer 2020 and a good moving to those who will have to live the experience this season!   SEE PHOTOS
